I love the way you phrased this sentence, "The reader abandons reality as he knows it and fully adopts Hemingway's life, as recreated by the author."

That sentence alone tells me that this book is well written. This book seems interesting, and I like the added twist of Hemingway having a daughter.

This seems to be a historical fiction book about determination, Hemingway's passion for writing, and the story of Finley, his fictional daughter. Congrats on BOTD to the author! Thanks for the review!

It's always fun to read a what-if scenario of a well-known person. I like that readers can imagine what life would have been like if Hemingway had had a daughter and the things she would have had to deal with during this time frame. Great review!

Writing a story about Hemingway's daughter can be tasking as he is know to have only boys. The writer did a great job. Hemingway's daughter is a story to be read by all.

Though a recreated fictitious story about a famous fiction writer, it reveals some intriguing aspects of Hemingway's life.

A historical fiction about one of her favorite all time journalist, this sounds to me like a tribute though. However I like the fact that the author uses the daughter he never had to captivate our minds.

I love that the author wrote a fictionalised story about Hemingway's daughter. Often times as a reader I'm overwhelmed by curiosity on what would happen had writers lives been more different. I love that Finley's a strong female character.

While not fond of historical fiction, the addition of an imaginary daughter for Ernest Hemingway is unique. The perspective of demonstrating flaws as well as positive character aspects is also intriguing.

I am not a Hemingway fan, so I have decided to skip this novel. The imagination of the author is commendable though. Thanks for the review!

Thanks for your review. I'm not really interested in Hemingway's imaginary daughter, so I guess I will skip this book.

It’s interesting to imagine the possibility of recreating your favourite writer's life. I like how the author explores an important aspect of this historical fiction.

Love failure is true misery. Hemingway's members have to fight this nightmare, which looks like a great vitality. Focusing particularly on one character, Hemingway's daughter makes it more interesting. Also, her struggle to become a layer in male-overlook society makes it a more desiring novel to read.
