The name of the characters are peculiar. The storyline and themes of the book is intriguing. I am particularly interested in Sabah's life. I enjoy reading spy novels and will definitely try it out. Thanks for the apt review.

I enjoyed reading the preview on Amazon that dealt with Sabah’s overhearing the conversation between his math teacher and the Deputy police chief. The review tells us a little of the plot after this event. I am interested in finding out more about the female refugee as she has to be a very strong woman to survive and thrive.
Overall I found this review to be very comprehensive and it has interested me in reading the book.

Living as a refugee is absolutely not an exciting experience most especially their struggle to integrate into a completely different cultural environment. I like the book's theme. Congrats to the author on being the BOTD!

Trouble just seems to follow Sabah everywhere he went. From getting caught eavesdropping to fleeing the chaos in his homeland. This has the making of an adventure story.

Books that are political usually aren’t for me, but I think the story of Sabah is worth giving a try.

:text-bravo: I'm not a big fan of political thrillers or action books. But I love the fact that there are strong female characters present.
Thanks and good job for the great review.👍

'Official Review: Refugee On a Pendulum' by Jemil Metti well explains the engaging political thriller story about raising the awareness of the refugees' fate and their struggle to integrate in a completely different cultural environment for readers. It is a good guide to the story of the book for new readers. The point that the novel poignantly describes the dramatic conditions of military, religious, and political turmoil on the lives of ordinary people is worth mentioning in the review. Also, the point that there are strong female characters in the story, as mentioned in the review, is remarkable for readers. It was great to learn that the book has a solid plot and complex characters!

Political thrillers filled with warfare and the plight of people fleeing to America are a reflection of today's state of affairs. I often wonder how someone from Iraq could possibly make it to the United States without having any money. I think I would hate Jane Kilgore because of the possible affiliation with ISIS. Nice review.

This is interesting and filled with exciting events. I can't imagine that Sabah's eavesdropping could result in all of these. Nice review.

A story about military, religious, and political turmoil on the lives of people is very interesting. I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to be with Sabah’s journey as he faces the challenges of living in a different environment entirely new from what he was used to.
