Lara Reznik's "The M&M Boys" is an intriguing historical fiction book that tells the true life story of the M&M Boys and their unlikely friendship. Marshall Elliot, an 11-year-old boy, is the main character who is trying to make his father and mother proud.

Definitely not my cup of tea, since I have no interest whatsoever in the subject matter. Although I admit that book has some appeal from a historical point of view and is very well written based on reviews, so perhaps, perhaps... For now, my sincere congrats with BOTD!

I am not interested in baseball or historical fiction, so I don't think this book would be a great fit for me. However, the idea of forming a friendship under harsh circumstances is hopeful and enlightening. Thanks for the review!

It can be painful trying to seek fatherly love but not getting it,some kind of relief will definitely come when someone tries to fill up that space in your life.

It sounds like a well-written book, however, my poor knowledge of baseball would probably affect my enjoyment of this book. Congratulations on BOTD.

Marshall seems like a relatable character as he always strives to get his father's attention and approval. I find it fascinating a story that includes legendary baseball players such as Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle. In addition, the themes it touches on are reflective such as friendship, love, determination, and growth.

I did love to read the book, although some parts sound like it is not a work of fiction. My gratitude for the great review.
