I appreciate books with historical backgrounds it makes one to want to connect with the culture related. Nice and honest review. The military plot has piqued my interest.

It's incredible how the author was able to capture the events of the past and produced an exceptional historical fiction that centred around the Indian culture.
Thanks for the great review and kudos to the author.

Historical-fiction books are my kind of books. This particular book exposes readers to Indian culture and the battles and events of the Great Sioux War fought in the late 1800s. However, the author's military background was evident in the story narration. Congrats on being #BOTD!

The book is historically great and it is recommended to readers who have a particular affinity with stories of a western theme and history as a whole. That is a good review. 8)

It is good to know that there are ways of preserving our heritage, as regards our origin. Joshua is an inspiration because he was ready to learn Lakota's mother tongue. Thanks for this review. It is on point.

I think it is important to know everything about America's history, and this book focuses on Indian and pioneer cultures. I think it was rare for a Lakota warrior to become friends with a white man, so I am interested in seeing how this came about. Thank you for your review.

I found this review extremely informative and the fact that the author took time to include so much historical information into the book. I have not been a fan of historical fiction, but after this review and that of several other books in the same genre, I’m starting to feel differently. Looks like a Good Friday night read!

Wow! This story sounds so interesting! I love the author's attention to historical detail, with the inclusion of maps and notable figures of the time. I have grabbed myself a copy and can't wait to get reading.

:tiphat: This review justifies that this book is indeed rated 4 out of 4. It is high time to look back how the Indians were grabbed of These Sacred Lands. History keeps repeating itself until now this modus still exists. No wonder this is a blockbuster BOTD. :tiphat:

Even though I don't read historical fictions all that often, today's seems to be well-written and highly informative. I'm sure the book will appeal to readers of the genre.
