Definitely not my cup of tea, not just because I don't like such literature, but also due to my immense dislike of all things military. Injury is the ultimate pain and suffering and to see it happening not due to the misfortune of illness, but at the will of a person, won't gain my sympathy. Congrats with BOTD anyway!

I can't imagine waking up in a body bag. The author surely has some stories to tell. However, I don't think this book is for me.

The premise of From Hell to Home sounds promising and intriguing! However, I'm hesitant to take it up as it is a war-related story. Regardless, congrats on the BOTD! Thanks for the great review!

The way the story begins is incredibly captivating. I'd read this story only to see how his head injury affects his life. The plot appears to be exciting and action-packed.

I like the premise full of action in which this book begin. The injury caused from a bullet in the head it´s an explosive beginning which creates a lot of questions. I hope to read it soon! Good review!

I cannot believe that he was still alive and they placed him in a body bag. So no one checked him to see if he had a pulse or was breathing? I will like to read this book and find out what he did with his life after being given a second chance. Thanks for your review.

Thank you for the great review! The story of James Coleman is very intriguing, as he was initially considered dead and then confirmed to be alive. I love the selflessness you describe in his character. This novel sure is an emotional rollercoaster!

The book "From Hell to Home" by DJ Power is a very interesting book and provides more meaning to life than one ever could. I love the reviewer's openness and his ability to break down such a book into a short review. Good job.

Historical fiction especially ones depicting war are not my cup of tea. But I've read the review which is pretty enthusiastic describing how a man comes to terms with everything the war has taken from him and I should say that it does take so much from a lot of people even nowadays. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

The review was complete and captivating about what I can look forward to in this historical fiction. It sounds so completely in the head of James that I am awed with the ability of the author to capture this in print.

There should be soldiers like James that they have thought to have died in the cold hands of war, but unfortunately, they don't notice that they are barely alive before they are actually buried. I hope they find peace in death.

I can't imagine the emotional turmoil James has to undergo to make sense of his flashbacks. Judging by the review, James is a hero.

From Hell to Home: The Final Vietnam Story by DJ Power has an intense plot that follows James, a resilient officer who miraculously survives death. With gripping flashbacks and a deep connection to his past, it's a captivating historical fiction I can't wait to dive into!

Great review. Although I am not a fan of historical fiction that is not romance, this looks intriguing. I am eager to read this book
