Historical and non-fiction books rarely appeal to me, so this wouldn't be one that I would go for. However, this does sound like an interesting story and well thought out and planned book for someone who is into those types of books.

It is always entertaining to read the great achievements of military heroes. Heroism is not yet dead. Although the age of chivalry has been over with the Medieval times, along with the demise of the grand knights, modern warfare has produced men worthy of emulation. I would be interested to read this if time grants the opportunity. Thanks for the interesting review.

Every war hero has a story to tell. I'm Winfield Scott Hancock's story had a lot of flavor in it to make a book out of it.

Although I enjoy historical fiction sometimes, war stories aren't my favorite. This sounds like an interesting take about an interesting man though! I hope others really enjoy it! Great review!
