I was always interested in The Holocaust but always ended up with books that were too dry for my taste. Looks like I found one. An honest review.🌸

Holocaust's effects are something that I wanna know more about, and I guess this novel would be a good read for that purpose.
But I am of opinion that no one should be condemned on decisions that their ancestors have made. Everyone is responsible for their own decisions.

I do agree that people aren't simply subjected to right or wrong since all of us have our own version of what is ethical. According to your review, the book seems to have captured this essence. The past really can be painful for victims so I am interested in how the main characters were able to accept each other. Either way, kudos to the review- I was able to take in the theme simply by reading you it!

This sounds like something I would enjoy reading. It sounds like the author gets you to understand and feel the emotions of the characters in this book. Great review 👍.

This sounds like such a fascinating look into the lasting impacts of war on survivors and how important it is for survivors stories to be told to younger generations. I'm putting this one at the top of my list

Anindita Roy wrote: 30 May 2020, 00:23 Thank you for your great review. I would definitely read this book. "Drawing from Memory" has all the qualities of a good novel. It is a novel having an enormous appeal for juvenile minds. It has an intriguing well-constructed plot, having no loose ends, and no inconsistencies. The readers would go through the story almost breathlessly and find themselves unable to put aside the book till they have reached the end.
Historical fictions are novels of literary value. The art of characterisation makes the plot poignant, leaving an indelible mark upon the mind of every reader. The novelist has kept all the strands tied together to make the plot full and complete.
I agree with you, I will also read this book and thank you for the amazing review .

I enjoyed reading this review. I've only read one other book on this subject, and it was a good one. I'm looking forward to checking this one out, too. I hope I like it as much as you did. Thanks for an interesting, insightful review.
