I wouldn't hesitate to read a transformational book, whose characters resonate with the reader. Nice review.

Wow, this book sounds really interesting. From your review, I have already deduced a take away; Alice acceptance of her step-mother. And yes, I could agree choosing your love partner can be confusing sometimes.

It was also a center of tragedies and controversial circumstances. These controversies flawed some significant characters but made way for the development of other minor characters.
Good plot. Great review.
