First off, this book is unique. I had no idea that similar circumstances occurred during World War II. I like that the book is informative to people as well as interesting. I like that the women fought for themselves also. This makes me want to fight for women's rights even more. Hamilton may just be my favorite author yet. I can't wait to read and review this book.

Victoria sounds like a wonderful woman - a fitting role model for all of us, It's sad that it seems as though similar atrocities are still happening. Is there no end to the evil we humans can do each other?
I want toread this - great review, thanks.

The author wrote all the details of the moment. Many truths during the war are not told the new generations not knowing anything of those times. The courage of the woman of those times is able to inspire today's life.Read the book that you will be attracted to victory life a polish woman victim and heroine of war.

Wow. Sad but yet intriguing story. I have read a lot of stories about WWII but never about women. This book brings out one of the stories about WWII that we may never have known. Kudos to the author.

This is a good review that offers insight into the book and it looks like an emotional rollercoaster and sad. I particularly don't like reading books about beatings, slavery, or historical human suffering in general. It becomes too draining therefore not for me but it sounds amazing and an interesting read.

This seems to be an interesting historical fiction book grounded on real life experience. How will Victoria and the rest of the women in the German camp succeed in their mission for redemption? I would love to know that, which is why I will read the book. I thank the author for this book. Congrats.

Historical fiction books like this have always reminded us the roles women have played in the freedom of nations in the world. I admire the courage of Victoria and her relationship with Etta. I will love to read this book. Nice review.

Thank you for sharing your honest review with us. I commend the author for the effort to bring historical accuracy to the book, but the mentioned triggers gives me a little anxiety, so I think I will pass on this book.

I am not a fan of historical fiction books so I will pass on this book. It is definitely horrific how the Axis powers exploited people during WWII. Good review.

It is indeed true that any attempt to ignore what happened in the past does not erase the events. I am an ardent fan of historical fiction, and I will certainly enjoy poring over this. Thanks for the review.

It's such a shame that people can go through such horrific acts due to their gender or nationality. I like how the author paints vivid pictures about the various scenarios in these women's lives. I could clearly see Victoria in the attic with her watery soup...Etta is very inspiring. Thank you for the great review.
