This sounds like a very interesting historical fiction novel. It is a captivating era with the roubles between England and Ireland and the main characters move to Australia sounds fascinating. Thanks for a great review.

I'm not into historical fiction so I'll pass on this one. However, it's great that the characters are well written and intriguing which is always appreciated by many readers.

History is a boring subject for me, but presented this way it looks inviting. I am sure the author will make the read Worth-while. I am keen on meeting Brendan.

Okay! I'm thrilled by the course of this story. It changes swiftly and u expectedly. I can practically feel the suspense that would be in this book. From a seminary to a rebel, etc. I'm intrigued already.

I was a bit confused reading the Offical Review, which stated that the story took part in 1978. However, this is really a book set in the late 1700s. Irish history isn't of much interest to me, but the writing style exhibited in the pages that I read indicates that the author has some significant skills. Congratulations to Mr. Worth on achieving BOTD!

Ironic how what Britain called civilization was nothing more than cruelty and violence for those unfortunate enough to gain their attention. I like history, but would like to avoid certain periods, because it shames me that we are capable to commit such crimes against humanity.

By the looks of it, Brendan probably thought of giving up. It seems like a really huge task.

The story seems to be interesting. Having many characters but well built and easy to follow up is quite fascinating. Nice review.

My knowledge of this part of British and Irish history is really limited, so this novel can be useful to understand more about those years and Australia colonization using people considered criminals. Thank you for your great review!
