I quite like historical fiction, but I find myself having to push through many of them. I might give this one a try. Thank you for the detailed review!

It's a good plot for a book. Too bad it was not descriptive enough and I don't like anticlimactic endings.

Nothing better than looking at gold  . This reminds of T.V series Gold Rush, I hope to see that drama in this book too. Story line is amazing. Thanks for the helpful review.

There is drama, but the descriptions felt quite lacking. Thank you for the kind comment

I wonder If not writing in spoken English would have affected the book greatly, what do you think?

You have done a great job on this review
Well done!

A fantastic review. I loved the fact that he has been honest about the book in his review, and specifically mentions which genre it comes under. I personally wouldn't read this book, but great job.

Your review was great. You wrote in a way which gives proper insight to the book. These five people coming together for a gold hunt and encountering gore and violence seems like a high-key “Famous Five” stuff for me. It’s been so long since I took a book like this. Thanks for you recommondation.

Historical fiction and action stories are my favorite genres.
Most of the time, I love reading a conversational novel.
I agree that it makes reading pace faster.
thanks for the review.
