The old generation not understanding the protest of the younger generation, shows how real the generation gap is.

This sounds like a great book to read; I can’t wait to read it. I definitely think it’s an interesting take on a character’s life with him going against what his friends understand in order to make a difference in a way that he thinks is best.

I was on the fence about reading this book, but after reading the review, I think I'll pick it up. I enjoy books that offer differing opinions, and I have been wanting to know more about the feelings surrounding the Vietnam war.

Amazing review. War is a complex topic and it seems that the author has depicted it perfectly. I will definitely put it on my TBR list!

The protagonist here can resonate with a lot of people. We are always making tough decisions regarding our lives, work and social lives and how these can mesh. A very insightful review. Kudos.

It is quite interesting how events and experiences shape our perspective. This books bring to light the importance of getting both sides of the story before making conclusions.

The book is about Steve Logan who joined the police force with the intention to reform the law enforcement. I really want to understand the link between the killing of a student at Kent State University and the Vietnam War.

I particularly love the theme of activism in the book. I admire the courage of the students to protest against the wrongs in the society.
