I am not a fan of historical fiction, I find that it has too much war and no drama. I enjoy a good story that is full of drama and a bit of romance. I do not think I will consider reading this book.

This seems very promising. Just by reading this review, I can tell that the plot is going to be very interesting and intriguing. Although I have never been one for historical fiction, I am starting to give those books the benefit of the doubt lately and I have not been disappointed. I will add this book to my bookshelf. The author has given the world a gift here I appreciate that. Congratulations on the BOTD, it is very well deserved.

This historical fiction book is set in 405 AD and follows Theona, a 16-year-old girl forced to flee her village due to conflict. The story is engaging and transports readers to a bygone era.

This is historical fiction novel by Cheryl Bristow. It took place between 405 to 406 A.D. It's protagonist is about a young beautiful sixteen year old girl call Theona, her mother got killed during the Huns attack, she also lost her brother Wolfric after he went missing there's great possibility that he was kidnapped by the Huns. She only left with her father only Rhodus. In this story I learned that war left many people with sadness, disappointment, sorrow, anger and many bad things I wish everyone can encourage peace especially in African Continent.

I have not been a fan of historical fiction but this seems like a great read. I might try it. The characters are also well developed which is a plus. Great review.
