Sandra Eden’s War by Mike low is a story of bravery and courage during the most difficult era in human history, the Second World War. It follows the life of a spy sent to France right before D-day to disrupt Nazi operations while the allied forces prepared to attack the area of Normandy on 6 June 1944.The author’s descriptions and portrayals make the story more relatable and evoke emotions from the reader, though a fictional story, it draws from real-life history.

Accompanied by her friends and allies she manages to accomplish the impossible securing the survival of the very freedom we enjoy and usually take for granted. She proved herself capable earning the respect of her peers who thought that a woman could not pull off search a dangerous job. She overcomes any obstacle displaying extraordinary bravery in truly awe-inspiring ways.

The book is jaw dropping and very entertaining depending on your views towards the war. What I like about the book, was the accuracy portrayed concerning the spy craft. The attention to detail made the scenes even more enjoyable to read. The other thing is how the titular character is written; it highlights how anyone can accomplish any goal, no matter the gender.

The author’s descriptions and portrayals make the story more relatable and evoke emotions from the reader, though a fictional story, it draws from real-life experience and history. This, in turn, makes it more educational as tackles the aspects that we would rather forget regarding one of the most brutal wars ever fought. All this helps paint a vivid picture in one’s mind capturing the imagination of the reader.

The book was good hence nothing to dislike, I did not spot any errors in the book, so in my opinion it was expertly edited. There were no uses of profanity and no sexual content in the book. All in all a great story, that is both educational and empowering to the readers. The book’s premise was about the war and did not tackle any aspects of religion; therefore, it does not offend anyone’s beliefs.

The book is suitable to those who love a story packed with adventure and suspense. It can also be used to educate those who usually take lightly the effects of the Second World War and its impact on the planet as a whole. I recommend it to those who love history and a little bit of fiction mixed together. All in all a great story, that is both educational and empowering to the readers. I happily rate it at four out of four stars.
