Sandra Eden's war by Mike Low is a fictional work of art that narrates the story of a woman's involvement in the fight to help free Europe from the oppression of Nazism.

As the name of the book suggests, Sandra Eden's takes the lead In the book as a Special Operations Executive (SOE) agent who was deployed to Normandy to help prevent the Gestapo from causing war by destabilizing their communication, railways and factories that manufactured and provided them with weapons.

Sandra Eden was thought to be dead as her parachute could not open when she was landing but unknown be she was saved by a miraculous tree which was just at the right place at the right time. The SOE agency perceives her death and immediately sends a replacement, Nancy Lake who is no different from Sandra Eden in terms of training.

It is soon confirmed that Sandra Eden is alive and she continues on her journey to destabilize the Gestapo. She makes new Friends and some, traitors in disguise. An inner man begins to sabotage the efforts of the SOE. Who could this person be? How does she track this person as she lives no stoned until she finds the culprit? Will her mission be fruitful? How does not execute her Mission without raising alarm? Find out if she succeeds at the last point as many incidences begin to unfold.

The themes present in this book are the themes of friendship, bravery, courage, sabotage ,unity, war, disbelief, hard work, long-suffering and dedication to work.

Sandra Eden's wars to me sounded like a real life experience that was carefully documented whereas, it was just a fiction. I really loved this feature. Everything about the book was great from the language down to the development of the plot. The setting was in France which was a frech speaking country and the author did a very nice job in portraying the language part of their culture without getting the reader lost and I really appreciate the author for that.

Also the author Mike Low did a very good job in giving the reader hints about what the culture and environment was like. From their way of greeting down to their wine, the author did not leave out any details that would have added to the spiciness of the write-up and for that I give him an accolade.

The part I liked the most was the part in which Sandra Eden used her bravery to set a trap for Alphonse who was sabotaging them. This she did by placing a couple at a strategic location after giving Alphonse a fake tip of their activity. I loved the way Michel came up with the wine tasting stuff as a reason to invite the couple.

Another part I enjoyed was Sandra's self delivery from captivity of the Gestapo interrogation room as she exhibited her skills and smartness.
There was nothing I hated about the book as it was short and straightforward. I give it 4 stars out of 4 for both its language and for being realistic. I recommend it to lovers of adventure.
