James Coppi has only ten more months to serve in the US Army before being released from service when he receives his transfer orders. He is to report at Fort Carson in Colorado from his current station in Fort Knox. He is surprised to know that the unit at Fort Carson is being deployed to Vietnam. Perhaps if he were not so close to being released from service, going to the war wouldn't have bothered him that much. While in Colorado, he shows up at a Honky-Tonk with a few of his army friends. It is then that he meets a raving beauty from Texas, Samantha Powers. James Coppi spends a night with Samantha Powers and gets to know a lot about her. Interestingly, when James Coppi learns about Samantha's pregnancy with another man, he does not leave her but instead offers to help Samantha go ahead with the decision she makes about the pregnancy. You might want to know what decision Samantha makes, or maybe the type of help James Coppi offers Samantha.

Samantha becomes a big part of James' life as James becomes a big part of Samantha's life. They keep seeing more and more of each other. Samantha falls head over heels for James. Before James met Samantha, he had been seeing a girl back home. James and the girl were not on good terms because he had failed to assure her of his commitment. His main reason was that he was going to war, or so he thought. With his day for departure so close, what choice will he make with Samantha? Whatever the choice, How will Samantha receive it, now that he is leaving for war? Will he even make it out of Vietnam alive? What will happen to Samantha if James Coppi does not survive the war? You should read A. A. Freda's A Police Action to know more.

A. A. Freda's A Police Action is a great piece of work. If you enjoy reading action thrillers about war accompanied by good romantic stories, this is a must-read for you. A. A Freda's imagination ability is magnificent. His style of writing is by all means great. His sentences are twisted but easy to comprehend. His choice of words gives the book a professional touch. He connects his ideas so well making his plot flow effortlessly. The plot twists in A PoliceAction are so ingenious, they make the reader feel like he or she has not understood the story and prompt him or her to pay more attention when reading the book.

I loved how sensational A. A. Freda's words are. You will feel every emotion he intends for every scene. You will feel the tension, the thrill and it only gets better with the suspense he creates. A. A. Freda writes about his characters in a way that makes it easy for the reader to connect with them. The reader will find themselves hating some characters and loving other characters.

The characters in A Police Action are well developed. A. A. Freda knows how to bring out a character's personality. James Coppi is depicted as a good-looking, intelligent, and strong-willed guy. James is the type of guy who finds it easy to get along with people. He does not mind making decisions that make the people around him uncomfortable, especially when his interests are favored. James Coppi always seems to have his way out of trouble. Samantha is depicted as a beautiful, God-fearing, and intelligent woman. She is loving and compassionate.

The descriptions A. A. Freda gives for his scenes and characters are pleasantly graphical. They add color to the story and in some instances highlight a character's emotions. One of the descriptions he gives in the book was so priceless and will leave the reader sympathetic. This is specifically the instance he describes Goyette as "a big puppy dog that's lost his best friend". This aroused a lot of sympathy in me for Goyette. A Police Action is packed with adventure, war, action, thrill, romance, and much more. I did not find anything to criticize about the book. I loved everything about it. I did not find any errors in the book. It was exceptionally and professionally edited. I rate it 4 out of 4 stars. lovers of action and thriller books with a touch of romance will love A Police Action. I recommend the book to a mature audience because it contains some sexual scenes.
