A very complex society for us as the Romans was. I love reading the Romans' history and the emperors. I felt particularly curious about Cleopatra. The fact that all these historical facts and records are put into a book in form of a tail with a protagonist that goes through a tough ruling makes this book a very appealing one. Congrats!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting historical fiction story following Casper, who is chosen by Cleopatra for a position of honor and wealth but also risk. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I am not particularly interested in Roman history, so I will pass on this one. Fans of Cleopatra, Mark Antony, and even characters from the Bible may like this one. Thanks for the review. :)

Caspar's adventures sounds interesting to read. Ancient Roman Empire, Cleopatra, Magi of the East, those names always pique may interest whenever they appeared in a book. Thank you for the very informative review!

I've recently forayed into the world of historical fiction, and this book sounds like it has the potential to cement my love for the genre! This review has managed to capture the air of long-lost mysteries, in addition to my interest. Thank you for the same.

I like that the book includes pictures and maps to help the reader understand more precisely what they are reading. History and historical fiction are so easily misleading and manipulated to fit the author's perspective, or they add so much of the uninteresting events that it is dry and unreadable. It is great to know from your review that this book is done well and that the author took pains to make it interesting as well as informative. Thank you for a great review!

This book was very interesting to me. I enjoyed the beautiful illustrative diagrams and I like how it described places and people. I love Cleopatra and this book showed me more about her.

This review is intriguing, but some aspects of historical books are not usually real, as it is imagined by the author. Thanks for a tremendous review.

I'm intrigued to know what Caspar's fate will be. I like historical fiction stories and this one seems a good mix between the author's creativity and deep research that allows to contextualize every detail. The diagrams and images are a valuable visual contribution. Thanks for this detailed review.

Historical fiction books are my genre, the roman empire interest me a lot. However Gasper's personality intrigues me very much. Good review.

Historical fictions are great reads because you always question how much is true, and how much is fiction. I think that's what I like most about them. The glimpses of history tied I to fictitious stories.

Historical books have a tall order to accomplish. It must be accurate and it must be interesting. Here is a book with any characters but each character has a story to tell. The protagonist Casper has many hurdles to overcome. I truly hope that he is successful. Thanks for the review.
