Hmm… I’m torn. On one hand, I don’t really like history or stories that take place in different points in the past, but on the other hand, I absolutely love the story premise. Orlando seems like such an interesting character and I want to know more about this dispute and how he managed to settle it. I’m going to do some more digging on this story and I might read it. Your review has made me curious and I want to know more. Great review!

I am a huge time travel fan, this is a take on it that I've never come across, do I'm looking forward to checking it out. Great themes are running through this writer's version. Congrats on being BOTD!

Thank you for the great review. I'm glad you enjoyed the book. I am sure that to write a story from 4 different places, times, and kind of writing was very difficult. But sadly, history and all of these things are just not for me. I'm sure others will enjoy it just like you did.

The actions that we do will always be like a ball of yarn unrolling afterwards. Using history in a science-fiction story is unique and I wonder what divine quest Orlando was sent on.

I generally steer away from historical fiction books, but after reading your review, I’m curious to know more about Orlando’s adventures and quests! Congrats on the BOTD!

The unique aspect of this fabulous book is the part where the writing style shifts from poetry to prose, and it would be worth reading the conclusion of this story that Orlando finds about the complex nature of humanity.

Im very intrigued after reading the sample and review. The time travel part is what caught my attention. I'm not fond of poems or poetic writing so I really hope this won't hinder my read. I'm excited to see which historical figures Orlando meets though. Thanks for a great review.

This time travel historical fiction book sounds like a thought-provoking adventure. The premise of this story reminds me a little of the movie "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure"; I really like that movie. Great review!

I completely agree! It's a monumental task to write in various styles that correspond to different historical periods. Moreover, as a fan of time travel, the addition of the philosophical angle regarding the potential impact on history through the protagonist's interactions is simply irresistible to explore. Thank you for the great review!

This sounds like a unique book with a unique writing style. I like the idea of combining the Greek gods with time travel as well. Together, the writing style and concept have the potential to make this a one-of-a-kind book. Thank you for the helpful review.

Your review was incredibly well-written and captivating. After reading it, I was intrigued to read the sample. Although I am not an admirer of poetry, I liked how the story was narrated in the sample pages. However, it is not the type of book I generally choose; therefore, I will skip it. Congrats on the BOTD, though!

What a shame that the 'divine quest' kind of peters out during the story. I felt a little jarred by the changing of styles; the poetry bogged me down a little as I'm not a fan. It's all a clever concept, but I found it too heavy-going for me. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

If you like books that revolve around time travel and history, you might be delighted to see Orlando meet famous historical figures throughout the story. It was really enjoyable to see them come to life in this book. I also recommend this book to those who enjoy reading poems or stories with excellent poetic writing
