Kids who look for their parents' approval, is a topic that can be said about a lot. I empathise with Marshall and am sure that his new friendship will benefit him.

It sounds intriguing that this historical fiction is based on two legendary baseball players. The M&M Boys appears to be an engaging book that everyone would enjoy, with themes of friendship, loyalty, and romance. Marshall Elliot, an 11-year-old protagonist of the novel, is constantly trying to get his father's praise and attention. Baseball is effectively incorporated into the plot by the author. Her superb portrayal of the tension at the games was in-depth and captivating. Congrats on botd!

Having four characters in a book with unique features goes to show that the readers will encounter different experiences packed in a book. I enjoyed the storyline and anticipate an exciting reading experience. Congrats to the author on being the #BOTD!

The situation Marshall had to deal with is common in most families today. Kids are doing all they can to be in any or both of their patents' God books, yet falling short. So many young readers who be inspired by this story.

I think it is every kid's dream to meet their hero. Marshall was one of the lucky few who got to experience it. I also like the inclusion of a young romance. From your review and the bit I was able to read, this sounds like an excellent book. Thank you for a great review!

I am not a fan of baseball or historical fiction, so I think I am going to pass on this one. However, it does seem like a nice read for those who are.

Baseball is a popular sport in my high school, but I'm not sure if I like it enough to enjoy reading this book. The teamwork and the determination of the characters to win and break records are noteworthy. This book is highly recommend to sports enthusiasts. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Lara Reznik's inspiration is truly overflowing...
Succeed in introducing real baseball players into a fictional work, while increasing the flavor of the novel.
The story of young Marshall, fortuitously finding himself a neighbor of his heroes, living an incredible passion from a young age with his parents, made me experience immense nostalgia!
