I haven't learned anything about the Quebec bridge disaster, so this book would be educational for me! I appreciate the author bringing the story to life through the two university students and the journal entry. Nice. Congrats to the author on BOTD!

"The Bridge" by Andrew Palmer is a historical fiction novel. At the center of the story is the Quebec Bridge disaster, and the motifs of the importance of hard work, integrity, and friendship run through the book. The book is professionally edited.

The book sounds interesting and the author skillfully merged the fiction and the historical facts judging by what I have read in the review. And I would also like to know more about the history of the engineering profession. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Well, now you got me curious about all these shocking revelations and about the diary! Mixing fact and fiction is always a good strategy, that is if the execution is plausible, which seems to be the case here. This sounds like an interesting story, and I am suspecting a stirring of romantic feelings between the two protagonists. Thank you for the excellent review!

Andrew Palmer must have put a lot of research into this book, considering it's historical fiction. The relationship between Esther and Ben piqued my interest as I read the review. I hope the book is as promising as the review says.

"The Bridge" by Andrew Palmer is a book with a story that confirms that treasure lies where we fear to thread. It was when Ben and Esther agreed to study the Quebec bridge disaster that they made interesting discoveries.

One interesting thing about the university life is that it has, (through projects such as this) brought people who would never have thought of having anything to do with each other together. Also, it is only when we get close to an individual we can say for certain what kind of person they are. The book also inspires anyone who loves history such as myself, to get to know origins and trace patterns. Amazing review. Congratulations on BOTD.

Great review! I'm interested to see how the friendship between Esther and Ben unfolds and I'm also interested in learning more about the Quebec Bridge. Historial fiction has always fascinated me. I'm also curious to see what's hidden in that journal because it seems it may shape the outcome of the whole story.

I don’t really enjoy historical fiction, but I am intrigued that Alec knew about the problems with the bridge.

The book is informative and interesting, the author did a great job of merging fiction and historical facts into the story. I will like to know what Alex and Esther ended up discovering about their personalities and the bridge. Intriguing review
