While this book isn't my cup of tea, historical fiction fans will love this book -- the short, connected stories, and the common theme of Venus throughout. Thanks for the informative review.

I love historical fiction books in general. But for this and its lengthy pages, I don't think I will give it a trial. Reading such lengthy books don't really go down well with me. But congrats on BOTD anyway.

Sounds interesting, but a bit lengthy for my tastes. I’d probably have to read this one in shorter installments.

Combining history and science together to make a good fiction book. The author tries to disclose the ways the planet Venus had altered or changed stuff in the world.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading your review. It aptly captured the essence of this book. The sampled pages provided great insight into the plot of the novel. A compilation of stories in a time where much emphasis was placed on Gods, Goddesses, and deities makes for an interesting read. I love that the stories are intertwined yet still able to be read as stand-alones. Congratulations to the author for being today's BOTD selection!

As always, I love a good historical fiction book. Especially when there's a supernatural element involved.

The idea of this historical-fiction novel centered around Venus sounds unique. Each chapter is different story but somehow connected to each other and has its own part in separate event that the action of the characters in one story gave impact to characters in another story. I'm not into historical story, also the book's length makes me not interested to pick this book. Thank you for a great review.

Great job o the review! History is always a wonderful topic to learn about how people and things can affect generations to come. If not for the length of the book I would enjoy reading this book. Congrats on BOTD!

I used to read strictly historical fiction, and it is still my favorite genre to this day! This sounds like an amazing book based on your review, and I am excited to read it.

Today's BOTD is a collection of stories that focus on the impact Venus had throughout various time periods. Combined with elements of the fantasy and scifi genres, readers will enjoy each of these adventures through history, while learning a thing ot two in the process. Thank you so much! :-)

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting collection of historical fiction stories concerning a range of different myths but with the common theme of the planet Venus and it’s mythological incarnations. It might be worth a second look. Well done.
