I've always had an interest in Australian history, so I'll be adding this novel to my reading list as it looks like a captivating historical fiction novel. Excellent review!

It's kind of difficult for me to understand the summary of the book. This could be largely because of how bland the book look from the reviewer's observations.
You are yet to be the best version of yourself. Keep refining.

I really like how each character has their own personality. Though a bland book that does not have action or suspense does not sound interesting, unfortunately. I also do not enjoy historical novels.

After reading your review, I'm left wondering if the family experienced a real change. I'll be picking a copy of this book to get all my questions answered. Congratulations on being the Book of The Day.

I like that the story of bark hill is told from the nineties. It will give the reader an idea of the nature of living at that time. Nice review.

'Official Review: The Ironbark Hill Saga' by Jennie Linnane well analyses the story of a girl who wants to become a landscape artist. The point that the author successfully addresses poverty, discrimination against aboriginal people because of their skin, and farming practices in her book is worth mentioning in the review. Also, the point that the fiction story has a realistic touch, as mentioned in the review, is remarkable for readers. The ending of the review is positive. It was great to learn that the book can be referred to as a coming-of-age novel!

Thank you for an honest review. I’m not someone who would read a story if it has no auction and stays mundane. But, I know it has to be hard to turn a true story into fiction.

The story seems intresting with a wonderful plot. The characters were well developed and the author did a great job in narrating the story. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

I am trying to get a picture on how the various characters in Natalie's family portrayed their personalities in the story. I think from my understanding of the story in this review, this book will make an interesting movie.

This seems like an inspiring book filled with lots of life's lessons. This awesome review really helped me understand the storyline of this book as the book cover made it appear so uninteresting. Congratulations on BOTD.

The storyline of this story piques my interest, however, the bland way in which it is narrated dissatisfies me. Great review, though.

I agree to the review that the story is too basic. Although it captures discriminations, poverty and all other social issues, I think everyone knows how it ends. This book might not be for me. Thank you for your review though.

Thank you for the review. It confirmed that this is not my type of books. I'm sure people who love this genre will find it appealing.
