It must be super hard to create realistic dialogues. The few times I've tried it it's one of the hardest parts of writing but it brings the whole story to life.

There are several subplots which, in this case, is a double-edged sword. The author, and the main character, try to broach a lot of social issues, which is commendable, but it doesn't allow space to explore deeply most of these issues, the mother-daughter relationship, or any other subplot.Chimereucheya Okoroafo wrote: ↑18 Aug 2022, 05:53 I see a merge of several plots. Would even say they could do for several stories, a story of a newspaper between a mother and a daughter, a story of the Vietnam War with a romantic flair. I would like to see how they all go together, even though it doesn't really arouse my interest.
Great review.

It's ironic and, honestly, plain dumb. One needs to be familiarized with the business and what you are offering to your clients. But Anne is ... peculiar.ExcellenceAwuzie wrote: ↑31 Aug 2022, 00:27 Having a multi-million-dollar newspaper empire but never opening a newspaper, is just like owning a big water factory bit never drinking from it. Sounds ironic.
Great review.
