For many people, an unproven and unusual discovery can be much stranger. It's a lot to deal with and even close relatives, friends, and associates could find it difficult to believe. The challenge of getting people to comprehend, though, can be another. What role does this play in this book? Find out in Voice of a Mummy, a book by Kay A. Oliver.

An archaeologist, Dr Kaili Worthy, works with the Nile Egyptian Museum in Fremont, California. In the museum, she researches the mummies. When she is in charge of some skeletons in one of the mummies, she occasionally notices odd movements and events and wants to know more. She links with them in some way that eventually proves to be one of the most notable and historical figures of Egyptian descent, among many others.

In contrast, Derek, her husband, is a police chief who oversees numerous investigations throughout the city. He has to cope with resolving these crimes while juggling that with his personal life as criminal activity has increased throughout the city. All of these activities place two separate people in a complex web of problems to solve. Do they scale through, or not?

I learned a lot as I was immersed in this book, particularly about archaeology and its complexities. This is most fascinating and amazing because it can be challenging to relate to many people when a remarkable discovery is discovered. I learned a lot about Egyptian history, particularly about their gods, their afterlife, and other para-normally probable happenings. In addition, the author's interpretation of this story was simple and lovely.

The way the author combined the personal lives of the major characters, Kaili and Derek, was another idea I found appealing. I craved it because it was an admirable one-love story. The sexual terminology was light and not explicit, yet it was also beautiful. I never anticipated Kaili and Doris' friendship to become stronger despite the challenging conditions and challenges.

In addition, I appreciated how thorough the book covered the investigative components. Given all of these, I can honestly say that I didn't find anything about the book that I hated. This is because the entire thing was a fantastic read. There were no vulgar words or grammatical errors in it either because of its flawless editing. Because of this, I find it befitting to award it a deserved 4 out of 4 stars rating.

This book will appeal to readers from a wide variety of genres. Fans of historical fiction, crime, suspense, and romance in particular should read it. They would undoubtedly delight in a combination of all of these components and long for more.
