"Either Peace or War" by Graydon McWilliams is an action-packed book with a historical basis. The book examines the life of soldiers during missions and beyond. The conclusion is that the life of every soldier is different.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting "recounting" of the wars and conflicts that the narrator and his friends were deployed and fought in. It is an interesting perspective from those that fought and served in the military. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I have quite conflicting emotions about the military. On the one hand, there is no duty more noble than the protector of people and the land, but at the other what honor can be found in solders of opposite side? Take for example recent conflict and actions of russians in Ukraine? Murders, torture, rapes and pillage. Sorry, I prefer to do nothing common with war related.

It sounds like from this great review that even the humdrum is presented in an interesting way, and it transitions nicely so that the overall effect is an enjoyable read. I might pick this one up just from its first line alone.

The opening statement indeed is quite shocking. It doesn't appeal to me to be honest, but I can imagine that the author can put it in perspective explaining things from his own perspective and experience in the military.

Seldom do I read books about soldier stories so I’m looking forward to digging into this interesting and intriguing novel to be with the author’s journey as a soldier during deployment and beyond. I’m intrigued with his insights about the military and his experiences about war and the effects of war to his character and relationships with people around him.

War narratives are always difficult to read due to their inherently heavy nature, but McWilliams seems perfectly suited to describe his experiences to his audience. With a strong opening line such as "I miss war," readers are already expecting a thrilling and intriguing ride. Congrats on book of the day!

We ought to be appreciative of the tranquility of these times. The disease of war has ravaged and ruined humanity. Anyone who reads Either Peace or Conflict will be forced to consider the negative aspects of war. I find the opening statement a bit too controversial.

I would certainly be interested in finding out why somebody would miss war. The opening phrase is indeed very intriguing.
