Ignorance is bliss, that’s what they said. But in some cases, it’s better to know than to be ignorant.

The book is The Vanished by Pejay Bradley. The central theme of this book is the turbulent years of Korea in the early 20th century. It is being portrayed in the book by using the story of Embon. This is a stand-alone book. In this book, we will follow Embon, a young man from the royal family of Korea, on his journey into university, enlightened with Korea’s problem, and his resistance to achieve freedom. This book also highlights the effects colonization has on the countries.

This book is an exciting read. First, let’s give a big applause to the author, as she has done a great job writing this book. It has been written beautifully with good writing quality, excellent character design, an insightful story, and clean formatting. It is an enlightening read for me. The author also includes high emotion scenes in the book to make it more entertaining for the reader. It keeps me from getting bored. I also like the writing style used by the author. It’s well written, and I wish I could use the same style in my writing. I like the plot of the story. It makes me immersed in the story.

There is nothing I dislike about this book. Although the book is a bit too violent for my taste.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. This rating is due to the book’s writing quality, character design, good story, exciting plot, and clean formatting. The first paragraph got me hooked and made me read this book until the end. While there is something that didn't suit my taste in this book, I don’t think I should blame the book for it. So there is no reason for me to give a rating lower than this. This book is exceptionally well-edited. I didn’t find any errors in the book.

I recommend this book to anyone interested in history. This book provides a detailed historical view written from a personal perspective. So it is a must-read for anyone interested in history. I also heavily recommend this book to Koreans and Japanese, as I think this book will resonate strongly with them. As a historical fiction book, this book contains colonization, resistance, patriotism, death, violents, and so on. If you like this kind of book, feel free to read this book. May all the readers enjoy this book and better appreciate the peace and hate the wars.
