Wow I can't imagine why anyone would want to travel to a war torn country just because they have learnt the language, but it sounds an interesting concept. However, I won't be reading this book as I am already finding the protagonist irritating because of his recklessness. Great review though, thank you!

This book is a historical fiction about a young American who travelled to Spain to experience the cultural there. It is unfortunate that he travelled at a time when their was civil war. I would love to see what adventures and encounters William faced in Spain.

An immersive story of a young man who travelled through Spain during the civil war can be found in the book "On the Precipice of the Labyrinth" by Brian Snowden. The book follows William, who learned Spanish from a Cuban neighbor. A nice book to read.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

On the precipice of the labyrinth sounds like a book that would be interesting to read. I was scared for the William's life as he travelled through Spain to immerse himself I their culture.

That Brian decided to travel to Spain to learn Spanish despite the civil war shows the level of love he has for the language. I would consider reading "On the Precipice of the Labyrinth" by Brian Snowden.

This historical fiction book seems to be full of adventure and new experiences. It must have been hard for William to travel to Spain during the civil war. I'm looking forward to reading what happened to him during his adventure. Thanks for this thorough review.

A fascinating read, by all accounts. I adore exploring new places and learning about other cultures through books, and I've always had a particular fascination with Spanish society. The language is romantic to me, and I enjoy it as well.

Traveling through a country during a civil war must be challenging and quite interesting. Glad you enjoy it.

I love historical fiction, but I wish this review outlined in which time period this story takes place. I am not familiar with the timelines of Spanish history.

Great review, apart from the fact that the word "immerse" was used 6 times. I enjoyed the sample, well-written and with an interesting plot. However, the very frequent formatting issues in the kindle version were very annoying.

This novel has an immersive storyline that will appeal to all kinds of readers. It follows the life of a young man who travels to Spain after falling in love with the Spanish language even though the country was going through a Civil War at the time. Congrats on the BOTD!
