The book seems really interesting and unusual telling a lot about Spanish history and culture, describing Spanish people and their attitude towards others. At the same time the book describes an ordinary civilian who tries to keep a low profile in order to avoid being involved in any political or military situation. It must be interesting to read about all these. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Today's BOTD is a historical fiction novel that follows William on his journey through Spain during the Spanish Civil War. Readers interested in travel and Spanish culture, as well as the political atmosphere of Spain during the 1930s will want to download this book today. I'm looking forward to learning about William's experiences! Thank you for the thorough review! :-)

The Spanish civil war is a great and broad subject to base a book on and sounds great!
We've longed to see the roses, but never felt the thorns
And bought our pretty crowns, but never paid the price
Find me in the river, find me there
Find me on my knees with my soul laid bare

I really like historical fiction but I know nothing about the Spanish civil war. I was sure if that was something that would interest me. Your review is amazing and makes me wanna read it. I had the chance to read a few pages and I also saw the ebook version formatting is not 100%.

Travelling to a different country amidst a war sounds risky, daring and fascinating. I can only imagine how dangerous the situation was for William. Your insightful review encouraged me to learn more about William's adventure in Spain. Thanks for the same! Congrats to the author on the BOTD!

I've never been to Spain, nevertheless, I love to learn new things. I'm just curious to know if there was an interpretation of the Spain languages that may be added to this book. If there was, then I'm picking up the book right away. Regardless, congrats on winning BOTD!

The civil war part that got me really intrigued. Will Wiliam be okay? Will he somehow be tangled by anyone that causing the upheaval? Or will he just finish his journey unscathed? I guess I just have to read the book then. Thanks for the review.

"On the Precipice of the Labyrinth" by Brian Snowden is about a young man's journey through Spain during the civil war. Knowledge of the Spanish language will help him in this. I like how much detail the people, culture, and history are described. The book is professionally edited.

This is an interesting historical fiction novel on Spain, a unique protagonist and his adventure which proves to be captivating and meaningful, but it gradually becomes more precarious. The book is temporarily free on Amazon Kindle and has an inciteful OnlineBookClub review.

Picture Spain in the midst of the Civil War. William was a traveler from America who learned Spanish and told of his experiences there.
