I was required to complete 20 units of Spanish in college. Sadly, I'd forgotten everything except "Te amo" and "No tengo dinero." I was lucky to visit Madrid for a few days ages ago. I wouldn't mind a repeat. But I can’t afford a real trip, so this book may be my best bet. Gracias to the author for making it free.

I love novels where people have the courage to go after what they want, despite the difficulty and dangers that might cross their paths to get there. I’m very interested in William’s story, especially because he decided to go to Spain in the middle of a war.

An interesting book really admire William's love for spanish. Although he had to keep a low profile because of the world war 2 it must have been really hard for him

Your review very creatively described the contents of this book. Thank you. However, after reading the sample, I was slightly disappointed because of the typographical errors and the slow-paced narration. I believe the story may improve once William’s journey in Spain begins.

On the Precipice of the Labyrinth is a book that follows the main character William's adventures in Spain. I like that readers get to learn about Spanish language, customs and culture from reading this book. I also like that this book is of the historical fiction genre. I'm curious how things turn out for William in the story.

Congrats on BOTD. Looks like we will learn a lot about Spain and its issues during a civil war, such as politics and religion, from this book.

Adventurous stories intrigue me. William really explored Spain upon his arrival there. William learning Spanish showed that he really loved their culture. Congrats on the book of the day.
