Voice of a Mummy is a fiction-based novel written by Kay A. Oliver. As you begin, it talks about an intriguing character named Menwi. She likes to embrace her divinity by maintaining a proud stance. The storyline of the novel dates back to the middle ages. The book follows a series of mysteries, research, and investigations inside the Nile Egyptian Museum. It explores the wonders of ancient Egyptian artifacts by telling a unique and compelling storyline.

Personally, learning about ancient Egypt and its history has been one of the most fascinating subjects I've encountered. At a young age, my interest was always drawn to learning more about the subject of history and the interpretation of our origin. Voice of a Mummy makes it interesting, to say the least. It involves a series of investigations that are carried out to come up with conclusions that answer the questions behind the mystery.

The chapters of the book are short, which makes it much easier to read. The storyline is well-constructed. It provides a detailed outlook on everything that's unfolding. The concept of romance can be defined differently here because of the storyline's nature. Kaili seems like a simple woman, not much is going on in her normal day-to-day life. It's the workplace that keeps her occupied at most.

The author's storytelling is quite influential to some extent. She creates a vivid outlook capturing the reader's sense of imagination. The characters themselves are well displayed and each plays a meaningful role. Kaili is the main character of the book, alongside Seti, a mummy. Seti and Selene share a unique relationship. It is through this experience that we understand or at least grasp the concept of the storyline.
This was an interesting read for me. I do not have any negative statements to outline. Only minor errors were found. The language used is simple and clear. I rate this book a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. I'm not only impressed by the content but the subplot structure as well. Kaili and Derek are a lovely couple who share a unique relationship.

I'd recommend this book to those interested in archaeological research, ancient history, and artifacts in general. The fact that it's a historical fiction novel makes it worth a read. The storyline is unique and it’s presented in quite an informative way. The series of investigations conducted by both Kaili and Derek also contribute a lot to the overall experience.
