A wonderful and insightful story of A Arib on A venture that gets side tracked and has A potential of being killed by some Vikings. As he gets involuntarily chosen to be the 13th of their Viking venture to kill a group of fog creatures that are attacking A home village of the leader of the venture. Michael Crichton never lets me down on packing as much information into his writings. The story has been passed for years of the report that the Arib delivered of his venture to the holy land to give a message, a very accurate report of Viking living style and some traditions. They brought him with because they believed that a group of 12 Vikings and one outsider is good luck for battle which was very needed in the end. I would highly recommend as A good read if you have not already.
