I am amazed by Linnea Tanner's industry in this book, Dagger's Destiny. In the Curse of Clansmen and Kings series, Dagger's Destiny is the second book. You should check out Apollo's Raven, the first book in the series. However, Dagger's Destiny can be read and enjoyed as a standalone book. If you desire a historical fantasy with engaging themes showing violence, sexual materials, and ancient rituals, this book is for you. Readers will undoubtedly find the love affair between Princess Catrin and Marcellus fascinating. Their love affair is, by default, forbidden, but the lovers are determined to try. Readers will encounter exciting characters like King Amren and many others throughout the book. Catrin, the daughter of King Amren, serves as the book's main character. King Amren is depicted as a cold-blooded man who beheaded his wife, Queen Rhan, for treachery. A druid then curses King Amren to die horribly.

Meanwhile, Marcellus, a Roman, was captured by King Amren to serve as an instrument of political trade and is fancied by the King's daughter, Princess Catrin, who helps him escape custody. As a result, King Amren accused Princess Catrin of treason, and she was exiled. She must abandon Marcellus and fight for the kingdom to show her allegiance and regain her father's trust. Find out whether Princess Catrin succeeded in her quest for love and duty! This book is available for consumption.

This engaging book by Linnea Tanner intrigues me in many ways. I like the author's writing style. The author meticulously, completely, and rationally adumbrated the plot. What I like most in the book is how the author portrays the strength of a woman. Princess Catrin is not a scared little girl longing for pampering. She is a fierce warrior and a great druid. I appreciate the use of strong imagery in the book. I was transported to a fictional location while reading the book, which satisfied my preference for detailed descriptions. I couldn't help but picture myself casting spells and conjuring magic as a druid. The author is imaginative. The environment prepared itself for Linnea to explore.

The author researched the ancient and medieval Roman Empire and Britannia to support her writing. Therefore, her industry and commitment are some of the positive aspects of this book. Another positive aspect of this book is its cover, which grabs the reader's attention and describes what to expect from the book (sorcery and bloody wars).

What I disliked most about this book was the vivid description of rape scenes. I usually don't read books containing rape materials. Apart from the aforementioned, there is no negative aspect to consider in this book by Linnea Tanner.

Linnea Tanner's Dagger's Destiny is a well-written, engaging work of historical fiction with excellent editing. Given the circumstances, I give Linnea Tanner's book Dagger's Destiny a flawless 5 out of 5 stars because the book met my expectations. The book is packed with suspense, adventure, magic, and fantasy, well structured and exceptionally edited.

I suggest readers who enjoy historical fiction laced with magic and fantasy read Dagger's Destiny by Linnea Tanner. This book is also recommended to folks who fancy ancient and medieval Roman and British cultures. The author revealed much of Roman and British history and culture in Dagger's Destiny.

An amazing book. I love your review. It was beautifully written. Catrin must choose between her people and the love of her life. I love the plot and character development of the book.
