This seems like a great book, with life lessons within it. I love what you've shared and learnt from the book, and that you enjoyed everything about it. I agree that Stephen is a very likeable character who has been through a lot. I am keen to read and find out what happens next! Thanks for a wonderful review!

Stephen outlives a miserable existence with his alcoholic and abusive father and siblings as he is accused of killing his mother. He makes a choice to never be like his father but can he do it? With a touch of crime and romance, the review is enticing with the promise of something unusual and even right in the reading. Looking forward to reading about a young man fighting all odds. Thank you for a revealing review.

I'm relieved to learn that, despite having a drunkard as a father, Stephen chose to create his own path and not follow in his father's ways, and that having to deal with allegations of murder is something unjust on his part.

This romance fiction novel is told from Stephen's perspective and one can easily feel what it's like to be in this characters mind. I especially like the flow of the story as it reads very well and the details of each character are full of life. I wonder if Stephen is able to break the chain and follow his own path. Congrats on the BOTD!

Congrats on BOTD. It seems Stephen has quite a good manner and attitude despite his unhappy childhood. That's one of the book's positive points.

It is sad that our pasts always seem to follow us even when we resolve to move past the trauma. Would be interesting to see how Stephen turns out as a married man. Thanks for the review.

As a lover of romantic thrillers, I am really interested in this novel. How would Stephen and Julie's romance end? I'm curious. Most of the time, I believe that a couple's love cannot sustain their union throughout tim.

Romance is not always my cup of tea, but this one convinced me to check it out after learning about the protagonist's past. It shouldn't define him, considering he wasn't actively doing the things people consider unpleasant. I may overlook the strong language if it's important for the plot. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Stephen's life is one of the lives of misfournate people whose mothers died when giving birth to them. We should learn to accept our children even when they have caused us pain. Thanks for the review, the author did a great work.

It sounds like Stephan had a rough upbringing, and his father and siblings treated him horribly. Hopefully, his romantic relationship will raise him up rather than tear him down. Thanks for the lovely review.

Stephen has encountered too many difficult events since his birth. But I think he's going to be a better person than his father and siblings. And, I'm sure that romance story lovers will love this book.

What a misfortune! I feel for Stephen really.
Even though he wants to love but he can't possibly express fully what he never received; love only existed in his head.
I hope he finds his way out from his ugly past experiences.
Good review!

It is such a positive message that even though the main character was abused, he was able to recover and be well. This book will hopefully inspire those in similar circumstances. Congratulations on the book of the day!

The type of personal background one comes from has always mattered in the type of background they create in the future. I really do hope Stephen finds the kind of home he dreams of and not the one he left. I don't believe I would read this book as I don't really fancy the genre but, congrats on being BOTD.

When you come from a broken home, the expectation is that you find it hard to trust someone enough to love or marry them. Or that you love easily and somehow you end up the way your parent did. I'm curious to know how Stephen ended up, I hope he choose to do things differently.
