I don't normally read historical fiction but this was one book that seemed too interesting to pass up. Oh my god this book was an emotional roller coaster. It takes place in WWII and is told through the eyes of the most unusual narrator: Death. Never in my life did I think Death would be a good narrator, much less a great narrator like in this book. It was so haunting and I still can't get the characters out of my head. Liesel, Max, Papa, Mama, Rudy...these are some great characters that I will never forget.

I am haunted by humans. -Death
