I just started reading this book series and absolutely love it so far. It's about Irish immigrants coming to America, and even has a surprise cameo by Edgar Allen Poe! Kind of slow in the middle but once you get into it, it's impossible to put down. Great romance/historical fiction.

Oh that's really cool! I love Poe, and I love historical fiction - thanks for drawing my attention to this one!
