The review provides insights into the book's strengths, such as skillful use of literary devices, and mentions a minor issue with transitions. It could be helpful to readers seeking narrative poetry and ballads. While the review is generally positive, its impact on motivating purchases may vary. Overall, the book seems like a worthwhile addition to certain readers' libraries.

Although I have a love-hate relationship with poetry, I often enjoy poetic novels. I can't imagine a better format to narrate a medieval war/romance tale.

This book sounds interesting but it's not exactly my cup of tea at the moment. I hope the protagonist finds the right woman for him. His swordsmen are devoted to him and that makes for an interesting personality.
