The story of King Anrem is followed in Dagger's Destiny, which is set in Ancient Britain. He is severely injured during a battle with Marcellus, the son of Senator Lucius. It is the brother of Anrem, Queen Brynn, who has to rule the throne while Marcellus takes him hostage. Anrem's sister, Queen Brynn, has to deal with Marcellus' threats and the ambitions of other nobles who wish to claim the throne. At the same time, Anrem's daughter, Rhiannon, is growing up and learning to control her magical abilities. She must also contend with two suitors both of whom possess ulterior motives.
Tanner does a great job of creating a believable and immersive world. The novel is also well-researched, and Tanner does an excellent job incorporating historical details into a story.
The strong female characters in Dagger's Destiny are one of the things I enjoyed most about the book. In addition to being a complex and sympathetic protagonist, Rowan is surrounded by several other strong female characters as well. Several important themes are also addressed in the novel, including love, betrayal, and family.

I would rate Dagger's Destiny a 5 out of 5-star rating. In addition to its strong pacing, Tanner's novel is full of action, adventure, and romance. Tanner's characters are complex and well-developed, and her world is believable and immersive. The book is also full of rich historical detail, which will appeal to fans of this genre. Dagger's Destiny has good editing, with no errors or typos.
Several characters in Dagger's Destiny are clever, resourceful, and determined. They are not just damsels in distress in the novel but are also active participants in the plot. There was a lack of excitement and suspense in the story because I could guess throughout the book what was going to happen next.

Readers who appreciate historical fantasy, adventure, and romance will enjoy Dagger's Destiny. It is a well-written, enjoyable novel that is sure to appeal to historical fantasy fans.
