The Gilded Mirror:Constantinople Volume 3

I really enjoyed this edition of The Gilded Mirror as more information was learned about the parents of Anna. Her mother Beata and father, Robert who both worked for the museum. Anna once again steps through the gilded mirror at her grandmother’s home. She is transported back to Constantinople before the fall. The year of 1453. She meets up with Father Geogrious and Alexius and Helena. Who fast become friends. Anna realizes that she only has a matter of days before the end of Constantinople. The church of Hagia Sophia and all the treasures will they survive. Find out by reading this wonderful work of historical fiction. Jocelyn Murray has become one of my preferred authors. The descriptions of the ancient world in the marketplace and the amphitheater are wonderful. See the last days of the Emperor Constantine XI Palaiologos the last emperor of the Byzantine empire. The character I liked least in the story was Halil Pasha, he was the kind of man who was motivated by money rather than morals. Jocelyn Murray shows her readers a world and time that really comes alive on the pages of The Gilded Mirror: Constantinople Volume 3. I have rated this book a solid 5 stars. Looking forward to reading more works by Jocelyn Murray.
