I began reading this book last week and am approximately half way through the book. This review seems very well written. I agree that there are some explicit scenes, and I appreciate how you worded your warning. I disagree that these scenes add a lot to the extremely awesome plot. I don't think they detract, but I feel like some of the sex is more described than other scenes of more worth to the plot (interactions between the queen and Marcellus for example).

But I also agree with you, that I would recommend this book, and it is a great read.

Also, I did question the use of “hooligans” and “shenanigans” during ancient Roman times,
Very keen observation. These words seem out of place in ancient times. It would help to be more mindful of the choice of words. Thank you for the insightful review.

If you’re looking for a captivating and memorable read, then Apollo’s Raven is the perfect choice. It is an enthralling story of love, loyalty, and an ancient curse that you won’t want to miss.

Greek mythology is my most favourite of all times. This book is a great combination of mythology and forbidden love. And I'm a sucker for both! Definitely, will read this one! Great review.
