Through this existential crucible, the soldier’s experiences prompt readers to reflect on the complexities of morality, the dangers of unchecked ideology, and the enduring power of compassion and forgiveness.

Readers who enjoy confronting dark subjects and engaging with complex moral issues will find it particularly compelling. I awarded it 5 out of 5 stars because I found nothing negative about the book.
