Apollo's Raven is a wonderful historical novel written by Linnea Tanner. I have never read a book that speaks about politics, romance, and sorcery in a better way than this book.

Catherine is the third daughter and last child of King Amren. When she was little, she was abandoned by her brother in the forest. The events of that day that led to her father and the king banishing her brother, Marrock, were unknown to her for a while. Catrin discovers that she has a connection with the Raven, and she couldn't control the power to its full potential. Marrock plans to take the throne from his father with the collaboration with the Romans. The Roman senator, Lucius, and his son, Marcellus, came to the city of Celtic to speak about the Roman partnership with Marrock with King Amren. In regards to the situation, Catrin fell in love with Marcellus. What will be the fate of Celtic? Will Marrock take his father's throne? Find out when you grab this book to read.

I love the way this novel was written; it was written with every single detail and left no gap in which a reader must be confused. I love this book storyline so much that I kept on reading no matter where I was at the time. The trust that went sour and turned to a betrayal was another part I loved the most and kept me in awe. I don't dislike any part of this book, as every scene was written well, which I believe was very understandable to every reader. The inclusion of the language difference was brilliant; I was able to tell the lack of understanding the Romans had for the Celtic language.

I recommend this book to lovers of romance and to lovers of historical fiction. For the reason of not having any dislike in this book and the flawless editing by the author, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
