I look forward to reading more than just the sample of this historical romance. This is volume one and the cultures involved are the Celts and the Romans with their gods and their own languages. It seems that Apollo's Raven (Curse of Clansmen and Kings Book 1) by Linnea Tanner, is a real page-turner with strong female characters and Druids as well.

This is an interesting book. Saddled between love and politics, princess Catrin and prince Marcellus would have to choose between their impossible love affairs and their nations. What happens when both find out their secret mission? Congratulations on BOTD!

This review is amazing, and very explanatory. The obstacle faced by Princess Catrin and Marcellus in the expression of their love is caused by social class and discrimination. The sad thing is that it's still an obstacle today. I love the narrative technique.

This must be a good read :techie-studyingbrown: . However, I do not think I would put this book down before I was done reading it. I love the description of the physical features, the scenarios that help create a real image in my mind, as well as the natural atmosphere that is birthed by the tone of grammar used throughout the story. Is there a movie based on this book? I would definitely love to watch

Forbidden love and mystical adventure are one of the themes of the book that sounds interesting to others, however, in my case, it's the opposite. Will Blood Wolf be free from the curse? Will Catrin be able to help him? The book is full of mystery. I will let others enjoy this interesting book but for now, I'm gonna skip it. Thanks for your long and intriguing review!

In the historical fantasy story Apollo's Raven, King Amren and his family are the main characters. King Amren finds himself in a difficult situation as he tries to safeguard his realm from an advancing army of soldiers while negotiating with the Roman Senator about Roman demands. For anyone studying mythology and history, this book is fantastic. Thanks for your review.

A thorough reading of this book is highly recommended. Well-written, well-researched historical fiction contains all the elements that will set it apart from the competition. I commend the author for a job well done. Wonderful review

This sounds really interesting! As a avid mythology reader, and someone who loves to see the crossovers and connections between different mythic traditions, I'm excited to hear that this is 1) well researched and 2) covering that exact topic as Roman and Celtic traditions come into contact with each other. Can't wait to read this!

The way of love with humans is always unpredictable. Now they both have to choose between their feelings for themselves and their duty to country. This book goes indeed beyond the love story but unveiling history is equally amazing. Great review and congratulations o BOTD.

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how the love story of Princess Catrin and Marcellus will survive amid the difficult challenges brought about by the mysteries and magic and darkness surrounding them. The characters are intriguing especially Catrin and her half-brother Marrock.
