Historical fantasy is a new genre for me. Though fantasy is not my preferred genre, your review piqued my interest in the book. Great review!

Based on the author’s lifelong passion for ancient history and mythology, the novel makes the readers revel in an enthraling adventure blending mystical experiences with the thrill of sweeping romance and the realism of political intrigue.
Excellent review. You make this sound like a fascinating book. Learning about history is one of the reasons why I like historical fiction. Add in the fantasy aspect, and I'm sure many readers will enjoy it. It sounds like it is jam-packed with history, romance, mythology, and mysticism.

Mythology and stories about ancient tribes are things that kept me in awe since my childhood. So, this book won't miss my reading list anyhow. Review is pretty lengthy and complete which gave me a complete idea about the book. Congratulations on being BOTD

You gave a very thorough review on Apollo's Raven. The mixture of Roman and Celtic myths and legends should make up a very mystical adventure indeed. The forbidden love of Catrin and Marcellus, Marrock's revengeful spirit, and the possibility of the curse being reversed all make up a very diverse story.

I'm not very fond of historical books, but I do like fantasy. The review to this book is written so enthusiastically that I'm tempted to read it too. The combination of love, magic, different cultures and civilizations with their own customs, myths and legends, adventure and intrigue in the novel is very catching. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Blood they say is thicker than water. Love they say covers a multitude of sin.
War they say causes massive loss to life.
Catrin caught up in the middle of these happenings and I long to read how this conflict is resolved.

My plan was to just read a few pages of the sample today, and I got so caught up in the story that I read the whole thing! Your review now makes me want to continue on to see the fate of Catrin and Marcellus. Thank you for this detailed review.

Historical fiction always excites me as characters always do things that would be very frowned upon in modern society. The presence of strong female characters in this story is definitely a bonus. Thanks for the informative review.

Not only is the plot enticing, as a fantasy focused around the Celtic tribes in Roman times, the review is absolutely glowing in its praise. I may have to check this one out quickly.

I agree with everything. The book pulled me in from the start. The author seemed to pull me along through the world that they have created. I can't wait to read the read the rest of it. The sample got me hooked and I never wanted to put the book down.
