Review of Kennedy's Revenge: The Election of 2016 by Stephen L. Rodenbeck

4 out of 4 stars

Narrated by the illegitimate son of John F. Kennedy; Fitzgerald Cavendish takes us on a fascinating passage of truths behind his family history. The discovery leads him to run for the presidency of 2016 with one, audacious mandate.

The book is structured in a way that the reader can follow Fitz’s journey in odd numbered chapters. The even numbered chapters take the reader on initially a very different expedition that exposes what is not taught in History classes.

The real reason for wars is unearthed and the reader becomes a learner of illuminating facts on events muted in the media and public discourse. Orchestrators of war are uncovered and horrific acts of otherwise celebrated historical figures are revealed. It was exciting to read about the backgrounds to the power elite and financiers like the Rothschilds and JP Morgan. The ‘who’ behind world wars is documented and especially, how past Presidents dealt with mogul bankers in paying for wars, not just in the USA but all over the world.

Conspiracy theories surrounding the maiden voyage of the Titanic and ill-fated Lusitania is contextualised within economic and one-world order political strategies. Chapters unfold unsettling insights into the assassinations of Presidents. The lead up to World Wars are exposed, taking the reader round the shady deals of Regan, Bush and Bill Clinton as governor. Media and holy war myths on 9/11 coverups, drone attacks, Syria and the Paris terrorist attacks and Fukushima nuclear explosions are refreshingly debunked. Other chapters focus on Big Pharma, and the suppression of cancer cures throughout the 20th century. Chapter 46 is a particularly disturbing read. The list is exhaustive.

Early on in the read, I wondered how the writer would web such heavy and damning accounts of unbridled truths throughout history with the fictional page-turners of Fitz’s colourful life. The latter chapters acted initially as a relief from the horrors of world atrocities. Rodenbeck however is never far from the reader. He frames the relevance of historical events to our lives through the on-going joke on the value and costs of our caramel macchiato-culture in the broader economic and political sphere.

Kennedy's Revenge enlightens and acts as a public service to educating the reader on world events. The fictional alternative to the 45th President is particluarly telling considering world politics today. It is a book that needs to be dessiminated amongst friends and would make a valuable present. Rodenbeck writes beautifully and skilfully. Despite minor typos that are not worth mentioning, the reader is in for a treat. I would have no hesitancy to rate the book 4 out of 4.
