War stories are always heavy on the heart, what with all of the bloodshed during battles and tragedies to families. However, there are also learnings so I am looking forward to reading this as soon as possible. Congrats!

I salute to the war heroes for their dedication cannot be paid off by any cost. Their mission is very risky, yet they still devoted theirselves to fight and depend the country. This is one of my favorite genre.

Normally I opt for more historic eras when it comes to historical fiction, such as Greeks and Romans, however, I must admit after reading your review I am very intrigued to read this book. Thank you :D

I'm not really a huge fan of historical fiction set in a military setting, but this seems like a good one. Thanks for the review.

Your review is excellent. But this last part contains a few keywords that make me read this book. Thank you for the recommendation!

Thank you for your review. I am not a historical war fiction fan, I think this may be a good introduction to this type of book. I was able to read the sample available on Amazon and enjoyed the first portion. Including the aftermath of war on its soldiers, like about health and the VA intrigues me. I would like to read this book, thank you for your review.

Honestly, i am already emotionally attached. I must read this book. I was captivated by this word in the review "The young men left everything behind, their loved ones, their dreams of a normal life and the comfort of their homes so as to give themselves fully and wholeheartedly to their call of duty and to the honor of their nation" . This Must be in my list of books. Thanks for the Review.

I always appreciate well-written characters. The Vietnam war is a big part of America's history and I love books that honor Vietnam veterans. It's a plus that it was so skillfully presented. Thanks for the great review!

In spite of the heavy subject being talked about, I am captivated by the humour, realistic characters, and author's play of words. Nice review.

I remember when my father went to Vietnam and I remember the aftermath when he returned. I'm sure historical fiction fans will love the brilliant, funny and realistic characters. But I will pass and just say thanks for the review!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting historical fiction story following a young man and his friends as they enlist in the Navy to fight in Vietnam. The story continues when they come home and develop illnesses and side effects of exposure to Agent Orange and the Vietnam War in general. Well done.

The story set in the time of war seems intriguing. From the review, it seems that the author has done a fantastic job in establishing characters, humour and several other aspects which make a good book. Congrats on BOTD!

Spectacular review. This book seems to be very interesting. I read a little sample of the book and it was really good. It is going to go on my to-read list!
