A very insightful review, thank-you. I usually steer clear of war themed books but your comments about how well the characters are drawn and the quality of writing have swayed me enough to give Deadly Waters a try.

I've read this one! This historical fiction book is a typical example of “Things Doesn't Always Go According To Plan.” The twists and turns abound in this book, always something new and threatening around every corner.

Surely, this book is very emotionally evoking. The young men sacrificed a lot, they deserved all the respect. Surely, the rating of 4 out of 4 is deserving. Thanks for the excellent review.

This book is full of emotions and as a story based on real and true events lived through by the author, you can't help but be pulled in and living everything alongside him.

"Randy Miller’s characters are as real as can be." This quote from the second paragraph caught my attention, and gave me the boost to want to read the book. Overall, you review was enjoyable to read.

A work of historical fiction that revolves around the ordeals of Zachariah and his friends. They existed for the Vietnam war, and they survived. I'd love to read the full story. Thanks for your honest review.

Will I be wrong to say people feel the aftermath of the Vietnam War 50 years after it ended. This war and the things surrounding it are majorly discussed nowadays, and this is another book with a broad enlightenment of the subject. Great review.

This story brings tears to my eyes. Soldiers are not slaves but heroes. Yes, self made heroes. They should be patted in the back for a job well done not spitting on their faces. Thanks for the review . It feels like I've already read the book.

Several true historical events are depicted in the book "Deadly Waters: The Vietnam Naval War And Its Aftermath" by Randy Miller, which follows a Zachariah Martin, a young man from a rural area. The haunting war horrors along with continuous challenges seems quite thrilling.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.
