The hardest thing in a woman's life is to choose between her love and family or duty. It only takes a strong-willed heart to let go of your love to secure your people. This is a great book that I would love to review some time. Thanks for your detailed review.

This isn't usually my genre of choice, but it sounds interesting. That the author is very well-written and the novel well-edited is a huge plus. I think I'd want to check out the first installment in this series first. Thanks for a great review!

Awesome review. Am happy to have another opportunity to read a Linnae Tanner story, the second in her series. I love historical fiction and am a fan.

A story set in the year 24 AD in the Southeast of Britannia tells the story of a young princess who faces the dilemma between love and duty, she is the only one who can change a curse that if fulfilled, her father would face the most horrible death and she will be at the mercy of her cruel half brother.

I'm not a huge fan of historical fictions but if you think it satisfies different tastes then I might give it a go!

I have read the first book of the series, Apollo's Raven. And I agree with the review that the characters are very well portrayed, even the sub characters. This story is very exciting, and the author has made this story inti a well blended mix of love, action, magic, mythology. I really will follow the story. Thank you for a great review.

I haven’t had a chance to read the first book in this series but it sounds like the sequel was a powerful continuation of the series. Thanks for the great review!

By a look at the cover of this book, i thought it was just a normal fiction story with love and drama . But after reading your review, I came to know how wonderful this book is. As you said that it is also a book leading to the path of self discovery, and the way characters are portrayed, I want to read this book soon.

The story between the Romans and the Celtics sounds interesting! I also like how the author includes a map of Briticana. This will definitely make following the story much easier, as it does so in other books that include them. Thanks for the review! :tiphat:

While historical fantasy is not a genre I enjoy, I do appreciate Tanner’s gifted writing. Thank you for this beautifully written review!

Kings, princesses, Celtic warriors, potentially fatal prophecies, cursed daggers, political alliances AND mythological references?! What a tale these elements must certainly weave in both books of the series. Helpful review!
