Although this is not my kind of book, I found the review interesting. I think the story will be suspenseful. I love the book cover. I look forward to reading this book. Congratulations on BOTD.

While I'm not a fan of historical fiction, this book is packed with action, adventure, and great characters, making it very tempting to read. It's good that it's a stand-alone, and one can read it without reading the first two books.

I like it when authors inject local English dialects into their stories; it helps me feel more immersed in the story. I'm curious to see how Kater incorporated the local dialects into his characters' dialogues. The story also seems fairly interesting, but I prefer stories that focus more on political intrigue than on personal stories. This review makes it sound like the Skills of Warrumunga is more of a suspenseful story of survival than a political drama.

An action packed book and the fact that it has theft and murder makes it a lot more thrilling. It seems like my cup of tea. Congratiolation on BOTD!

This action packed, adventure novel has many positive aspects. It has strong characters and an intriguing plot that delivers in both interest and suspense. My favorite part is the setting because it includes international countries and Aboriginals. I'm curious to know who is behind Colonel Johnny Cook's kidnapping. Congrats on the BOTD!

Interesting read of both Malaysia and the setting up of new security services post WWII, and two aboriginal characters in some of the main roles tracking their friend through the Malayan jungle. I would be interested in the two earlier books in the trilogy as well.

It's good that the third book can be read as a standalone. This historical fiction contains kidnapping, murder and theft. The plot graphics wasn't very violent so I may give the book a go. Congratulations on BOTD.

From the title I was expecting a different storyline, but I've been awed. That's cool. Storylines such as missing persons, and larcenies is always a sure read for me because there is always a substantial amount of suspense. Congratulations on being the Book of The Day.
