I do love a good adventure book. The fact that it's set in 1946 also piques my interest. I'll check this book out.

I liked how the review highlights the key strengths of the book and focuses on the plotline of murders amidst a tense setting. Great job!

I'm not a huge fan of series books, but when I found a standalone which such an action-packed story and plot, I do not hesitate to read them. I wish to congratulate the author on being the #BOTD!

Historical fiction? Count me in! It is just wonderful the way the author crafts the plot and how the mystery of the missing ColonelJonny Cook, the murders and robbery is later unfolded. It is also a great book without a single error. Kudos to the writer.

This book is one of the best historical fictions I've read. I could hear many different accents of English as well as the diverse new languages in the book. There had bee no dull moment for me with the book. I would reread it again as I liked it so much. Congrats on BOTD!!

A historical fiction story that includes kidnapping, theft, and murder may be slightly disturbing but is sure to be a great read. I'll check this out. Well done.

This book, Skills of Warramunga, is part of a trilogy. Colonel Johnny is captured and marched into the desert . His colleagues, Jamie and Jack, are keen on locating him despite the fact that his whereabouts are unknown. Well-developed characters and an action-oriented tale with suspense make for an exciting read. Thanks for your review.

Thank you so much for writing this review! I don't think I will be reading this book since I am not particularly interested in historical fiction, but I'm glad I read your opinion of it regardless!

I would love to read this book, even if it is just to know what happens to Johnny and why he was kidnapped. Congratulations on book of the day.

I love action filled books just as this one.
The plot itself is intriguing, and adventurous.
