This book shares the author's story, and as someone who lives in Baltimore, I believe the author has a lot to say about the place. Every opportunity to learn about different cultures is exciting to me, and your background story about your visit to these places makes the book even more endearing. The review is detailed and straight to the point.

Second Coming by Lobibah Oji Baraka seems to offer a raw, relatable exploration of life in the inner city, touching on love, systemic issues, and personal reflections. While the poetic style sounds captivating, I’m not sure if the adult content and language would align with my current reading preferences. Though the review piqued my interest, I’m uncertain if I’d read it myself right now.
